While you may be able to browse certain sections of the Platform without registering with us, please note we do not offer any product/service under this Platform outside India, and your personal data will primarily be stored and processed in India. By visiting this Platform, providing your information, or availing any product/service offered on the Platform, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use, and the applicable service/product terms and conditions, and agree to be governed by the laws of India, including but not limited to the laws applicable to data protection and privacy. If you do not agree, please do not use or access our Platform.

We collect your personal data relating to your identity and demographics when you use our Platform, services, or otherwise interact with us during the course of our relationship. Some of the information that we may collect includes, but is not limited to, details provided during sign-up, registration, or use of our Platform, such as your name, date of birth, address, telephone/mobile number, email ID, and any information shared as proof of identity or address. Sensitive personal data may also be collected with your consent, such as your bank account details, credit or debit card information, other payment instrument details, or biometric data like facial features or physiological information (for enabling specific features on the Platform that enhance your shopping experience). All data collection is in accordance with applicable laws. We may also collect information such as your shopping behavior, preferences, call data records, device location, voice, browsing history, and other information you may provide to us from time to time. Our primary goal is to offer you a safe, efficient, smooth, and personalized experience. We may also use images you share. Please note that such posts will be in the public domain and can be read by others, so exercise caution when posting personal details, photos, or reviews. We retain this information as necessary to resolve disputes, provide customer support, conduct internal research, and troubleshoot problems, as permitted by law. While some sections of our Platform can be browsed without registering, certain activities (such as placing an order, consuming online content or services, or participating in events) require registration. If you receive an email or call from someone claiming to represent Bigshot, requesting personal data like debit/credit card PINs, net-banking, or mobile banking passwords, we urge you never to provide such information. Neither Bigshot nor our affiliate logistics partners will ever ask for such information. If you have already shared this information, please report it immediately to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

To protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or misuse, we adopt reasonable security practices and procedures in line with international standards, specifically ISO/IEC 27001:2013, which is recognized as one of the highest information security standards. Whenever you access your account information, we provide the use of a secure server. However, the transmission of data over the internet is not entirely secure due to factors beyond our control. While we implement industry-standard security measures and continuously update our systems to protect your personal data from hacking or virus threats, by using the Platform, you acknowledge the inherent risks of data transmission over the internet and the World Wide Web, which cannot be fully guaranteed as secure. Users are responsible for safeguarding their login and password information for their accounts.

We provide all users with the option to opt out of receiving non-essential (promotional, marketing-related) communications from us after setting up an account. If you no longer wish to receive promotional messages from us, you can unsubscribe by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or by visiting our Help Center to manage your preferences and opt-out.

We use third-party advertising companies to display ads when you visit our Platform. These companies may use information (excluding your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this Platform and other websites to show advertisements for goods and services that may interest you. You have the option to opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting the “Opt out of Ads Personalization” settings in your device’s settings application. Once you enable this feature, Bigshot will no longer have access to your GAID (Google Advertising ID).

You have the option to delete your account by visiting the Profile and Settings section of our mobile application. Please note, this action will result in the loss of all information related to your account. You can also contact us using the information provided below to assist with these requests. By deleting your account, you will no longer have access to your order history, preferences, details of any pending orders, exchanges, returns, refunds, coupons, or benefits from loyalty programs. In cases of pending grievances, claims, shipments, or other services, we may refuse or delay the deletion of your account. Please note that account deletion is not retroactive and will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy, related Terms of Use, and applicable laws. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to it; however, you can register as a new user if you wish to access the Platform again. We retain your personal data for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable law. However, we may retain data if we believe it is necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, to allow Bigshot to exercise its legal rights and/or defend against legal claims, or for other legitimate purposes. Additionally, we may retain your data in anonymized form for analytical and research purposes.

We take every reasonable step to ensure that the personal data we process is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. If any of your personal data that we process is inaccurate (in regard to the purposes for which it is processed), it will be either erased or rectified. You can access, rectify, and update your personal data directly through the functionalities provided on the Platform. You also have the option to withdraw your consent that you have previously provided by contacting us using the information provided below. Please include “for withdrawal of consent” in the subject line of your communication. We may verify such requests before taking action. Please note that the withdrawal of consent will not be retroactive and will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy, the related Terms of Use, and applicable laws. Your withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to access the Platform or limit certain services we provide that require the information for which you have withdrawn consent.
